Let’s Party Baton Rouge! 2019 Summer Event Line Up.

Summer is quickly heating up in Baton Rouge but that doesn’t mean you have to turn down the fun.

JUNE 26: Swamp Pop Music Festival & BBQ Cook Off, Lamar Dixon Expo Center, Gonzales
Come get down with Louisiana’s hottest Swamp Pop Bands. After working up an appetitive make sure to grab a bite to eat from the BBQ Cook Off.

JULY 4: USS Kidd’s Fourth of July Spectacular!, USS Kidd Veterans Memorial and Museum
USS KIDD Veterans Museum is home to one of Baton Rouge’s best 4th of July Celebrations. Celebrate the 4th with concessions, contests, entertainment and fun for the whole family from 4 to 10pm. Fireworks start at 9:00pm.  Make sure to buy tickets early if you plan on viewing the fireworks from the ship!
If you’re looking for more fun on the 4th you can check out Baton Rouge Concert Band Fourth of July Concert.  The concert is held on the states of the Capitol Steps and you can also see the fireworks from here.  Music starts goes from 7:30 to 8:30pm.

JULY 13: Slam’d & Cam’d Car Show, Raising Cane’s River Center.  Raising Cane’s River Center’s first ever car show!  Fun for the whole family!

AUGUST 17: Taste of Tiger Tailgaiting, Lamar-dixon expo center, Gonzales
Kick off Football season with Taste of Tiger Tailgating – all things LSU, local food, and more! Make sure to look for the TJ Ribs booth!  We’ll be serving up tasty smoked chicken wings and pig mac.

August 31: LSU VS. Georgia Southern Football. Our favorite time of the year…football season! GEAUX TIGERS!!
